Business is an all-encompassing major that prepares students for various career paths. Coursework within business degrees includes accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, and management. A general business degree opens career options in industry, healthcare, retail, real estate, and non-profits.

The Business Department at Kaskaskia has a wide variety of majors, including two degree and three certificate options. The Business Management degree is designed to help students develop the skills to be successful in supervisory and management positions, while the Marketing degree gives students exposure to courses in retail management, advertising, merchandising, supervision, and human resources. In addition to the degrees, three certificates are available, including Digital Marketing & Advertising Certificate, Entrepreneurship Certificate, and Supervisory Management Certificate.
