Centralia Main Campus


Main Campus

The main campus of Kaskaskia College is located on a beautiful 200 acre site on Shattuc Road, eight miles southwest of Centralia. Situated in a rural setting, KC's main campus features the state of art classrooms and labs, you would expect from a college along with a concert hall, art gallery and a number of recreational opportunities that will enhance your collegiate experience.

Jane Knight Auditorium

Located in the Health and Business Building (main building), the Jane Knight Auditorium hosts a number of concerts, plays, dance recitals, seminars and conferences. The auditorium seats up to 700 people in a comfortable atmosphere with great acoustics and sight lines.

Dr. Dee and Sue Boswell Art Gallery

Located in the college's Lifelong Learning Center, the Dr. Dee and Sue Boswell Art Gallery opened in 2007. The gallery exhibits works by local and regional artists as well as KC students and staff.

Fitness Center

KC's 13,000 square foot fitness center, located on the south side of the gymnasium, is open to college students, staff as well as the general public.

Fitness Trail

The Kaskaskia College Alumni and Friends Fitness trail is a is 8’ wide and 0.8 mile long trail that features ten fitness stations. The trail is open to the general public, seven days a week from dawn to dusk.

Arboretum

KC's arboretum is interwoven throughout the main campus. Featuring more than a 20 different species of plants and trees, both native and non-indigenous, the KC Arboretum enhances the college's main campus, providing a calm and relaxing presence for students, staff and visitors alike.

Sports and Wellness Complex

Located on the west end of the main campus, the Kaskaskia College Sports and Wellness Complex features updated baseball, softball fields, tennis courts and a soccer fields.
