The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting at the Nashville Education Center on Monday, May 20, 2024. Attendees included Bill Hawley (Odin), Linda Stover (Centralia), Louis Kalert (Centralia), Craig Finke (Nashville), Bryan Holthaus (Carlyle), and Connor Wademan (Student Trustee). Laura Wedekemper (Shattuc) and Jim Beasley (Centralia) were absent.

In April, Jansen Chevrolet of Germantown, Illinois, donated a brand new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV to the Kaskaskia College Automotive Technology Program. The new Chevrolet Blazer will be instrumental in educating KC automotive students on how to better work with electric vehicles.
