College for High School Students
Find out if your high school offers college-level classes. By taking these classes now, you can save time and money later.
--Zero charge for tuition, fees, and books
Take college classes at half the cost while still in high school! This program is for all in-district high school students and could save you as much as $2,458 in tuition.
Eligible students and their high school guidance counselors, along with the Dual Credit and Career Pathways Coordinator, will select courses that may meet the student’s graduation requirements, plus career or transfer interests. Participating students will be in courses with full-time college students. Most courses are offered Monday-Thursday, with limited offerings available on Fridays.
Advanced Placement (AP) Credit
Kaskaskia College will grant credit to students who score sufficiently on the College Board Advanced Placement Examinations. For credit to be awarded, please send your official scores to the Office of the Registrar.
