The Cyber Defense degree will support security professionals to gain the ability to prevent, mitigate, and identify unauthorized access and compromise to computing devices, network systems, and data assets.
There is a large predicted rise in the need for well qualified security professionals due to the nature of incredible increases of hackers and cyber terrorist groups.
The Cyber Defense degree provides a realistic solution for the development of skill sets required to combat the growing threats facing our nation’s businesses, citizens, and government agencies.
This career path is best described as “Computer Systems Analyst according to the WIA 2012-2022 database as is expected to experience an 18% growth in the workforce.

- Demonstrate the ability of the implementation, configuration, and management of security-based elements in a business environment to defend against cyberattacks.
