Introducing the Kaskaskia College Mobile Manufacturing Trailer: a cutting-edge facility designed to bring hands-on experiences and career exploration directly to your community. This innovative trailer showcases a variety of skilled trades, offers short-term training events, and provides valuable insights into career opportunities.
This initiative is made possible through generous federal support, with 82 percent of the funding coming from key sources, including the United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Business Development Grant ($99,000), the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment & Training Administration FY 23 Community Project Grant ($413,000), and the Carl D. Perkins Grant ($146,000). We proudly leverage these resources to equip the next generation with the skills and knowledge needed for success in high-demand industries.
