Online Peer Tutor

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist students in new online course pilots.
• Utilize technology tools and academic support strategies.
• Participate in training sessions on best practices for online tutoring and effective use of technology.
• Conduct pilot tests of a new tutoring system.
• Help collect and organize online tutoring data for evaluation purposes.

Qualifications:

• Earned a grade of B or higher in the course(s) to be tutored.
• At least one recommendation from a KC faculty member.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Canvas and Zoom.
• Previous tutoring experience (preferred).

This role is limited to a maximum of 10 hours per week and is designed for students committed to academic excellence and helping peers succeed in an online learning environment.
