Fine Arts Assistant

Function

To assist with administrative and hands-on tasks in the Fine Arts area.

Organizational Relationships

Student reports to Assistant Professor of Music and Assistant Professor of Theatre

Qualifications for Position

• Students are eligible for work-study through financial aid.
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Dependable
• Good computer skills (experience with Word, excel, and building databases)
   

Essential Functions

• Student employee will help with administrative tasks for the music and theatre programs.
• Students will help with the organization and cataloging of the music library, theatre stagecraft lab, tech booth, and auditorium/stage areas.
• Student may help with set construction, painting, lighting, sound, and concert/event setup for the Jane Knight Auditorium

Other Functions

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Hourly wage is $14.00 per hour.
