This course is designed for the pre-clinical phase of the respiratory Therapy Student. The interpersonal and professional responsibilities of this health care professional will be presented. This course will also provide the student with information on work ethics, cultural diversity, policies & procedures, e-medicine, medical ethics and legal implications as they relate to respiratory therapy. The fundamentals of evaluating a scientific literature will be outlined and a research project will be required. Prerequisite: Acceptance in the Respiratory Therapy Program
