Provides students the opportunity to function as part of the paramedic team under direct supervision, on an advanced life support ambulance. Students will be required to perform all aspects of emergency pre-hospital care in a variety of actual situations. This is a 1 semester course. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of "C" or satisfactory completion of all first-semester paramedicine courses, PARM 160, PARM 225, PARM 245, minimum grade of "C" or concurrent enrollment in PARM 260, or with approval of Program Facilitator or Academic Dean.
