This course provides techniques and strategies to maximize individual test performance through prioritized learning and focused study time for students enrolled in the nursing programs. Study techniques and test-taking strategies are presented. Techniques learned will help improve thinking and discrimination skills to enhance test performance. Students will be given opportunity to apply these strategies in simulated testing situations. Topics include critical thinking, time management, study techniques, test-taking skills and interpretation of National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) style questions.
