This course is intended for students with little or no background in algebra. Students will learn concepts in linear equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations, systems of linear equations, polynomials and properties of exponents, and factoring. Prerequisite: Math placement at Math 102; or the completion of Math 101 with a grade of C or better. Refer to placement chart in college catalog for detailed information.
