This course is designed to be an introduction to safety involving hybrid and electric vehicles. Student will learn how to use personal protective equipment (PPE), specialized tools such as the multimeter and megohmmeter. Students will also learn how to properly disconnect a high voltage system. Prerequisites: AUTO 118 Basic Electrical, AUTO 119 Auto Fundamentals and Service, AUTO 156 Engine Performance I Or ASE A6 Basic Electrical and ASE A8 Engine Performance
