This course will provide the student with the knowledge and the skills to assess the critically ill patient. An in-depth study of all aspects of mechanical ventilation and noninvasive ventilation will also be covered. The lab portion of this class will teach the theories and concepts that the student will need to apply these skills in a clinical situation. Prerequisite: Completion of first and second semester RESP courses.
