It is designed to foster the development of leadership abilities in students by providing a basic understanding of the historical perspectives of leadership and group dynamics theory, by raising awareness of the ethical responsibilities of leadership and by assisting the student in developing personal philosophies of leadership which help them gain insight into their own leadership styles.
