9/10 and 9/12 - Barn Quilts | 5:30-7:30 pm
Course Description: Barn Quilts are blocks of wood painted to resemble a quilt. This is a very easy and fun project, and the finished work can be displayed in your home, barn, or garage. 9/17 - Sourdough Starter | 6-8 p.m.
Course Description: Students will learn a brief history of how sourdough began, what sourdough is, and how to care for your starter. We will create a starter during class. Students will leave with a bag of flour, a new starter, care instructions, and two of my favorite recipes. One for pancakes and the other is my bread recipe, we will not dive into bread baking but I do provide the information for when their starters are ready. Which is about two weeks from when they started it.

9/17 and 9/24 - Sign Language | 6:30 -8:30 p.m.
Course Description: This Sign Language class is for beginners or anyone with little knowledge. It will be fun and will add to your skills. We will cover finger spelling, deaf culture and history, and about 100 everyday signs. We will also learn about online resources to expand your sign language skills in the future!
9/25 and 10/02 - Painting Techniques | 1-3 p.m.
Course Description: During this Painting Techniques class, the instructor will discuss the basic supplies needed for painting on the first day of class and give the students a list of supplies to bring for the second day when they will be painting.

Course Description: "Essential oils can help set the tone for your day with energy, nutrition, positive emotions, and a cleaner beauty routine. Come learn how to start your morning with a lower toxic burden using natural products.

9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, and 10/25 - Great Decisions Discussions | 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Course Description: An 8-week discussion group for community members to explore some of the most important topics in U.S. foreign policy and world affairs today. Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today.
9/17 - Greek Stories in Constellations | 6-8 p.m.
Course Description: Learn about Greek stories and how they relate to our stars and constellations.
9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15 - Intermediate Quilting | 6-8 p.m.
Course Description: Now that you've taken to quilting, this is the perfect class to further your skills! Learn new blocks, new cutting techniques and take your quilting to the next level! Master the cutting & piecing techniques you learned in beginning quilting with the addition of curves and applique!
9/19, 9/26, 10/10, and 10/17 - Beginning Quilting | 6-8 p.m.
Course Description: The joys of quilting are only a stitch away. Learn to use a rotary cutter, press seams, and assemble and finish your own lap quilt. Explore quilting basics: choosing fabric, color values, and the supplies you'll need. Basic sewing skills are required, and you must have access to a sewing machine outside of class. You will receive a supply list on the first night of class.

Course Description: This workshop will help participants navigate Medicare and Social Security. Participants will review the latest changes and regulations to make informed decisions.
9/30 - Pet Care Education | 5-7 p.m.
Course Description: Learn the basics of pet care and responsibility.

8/29, 9/5, and 9/12 - Computer Basics Part 1 | 4 -6 p.m.
Course Description: This hands-on computer course gives beginner computer users the skills to become a seasoned computer user. Students will learn computer terms as well as basic components and parts of the computer. Learn to create, save, and print documents. Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel will be discussed along with basic internet functions.

Course Description: In this introduction to crochet, students will learn about choosing yarn, needle sizes, the proper way to hold needles, and various stitches. Different patterns and color combinations will also be explored. The class focus will be creating an afghan.
