Logan College, in partnership with the Illinois Business Enterprise Program (BEP), proudly invite businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, and persons with disabilities to attend a Diversity Lunch & Learn event on July 16. The lunch will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Southwestern Illinois College, 2500 Carlyle Ave., Belleville, IL 62221.

Attendees included Bill Hawley (Odin), Linda Stover (Centralia), Laura Wedekemper (Shattuc), Craig Finke (Nashville), Bryan Holthaus (Carlyle), and Connor Wademan (Student Trustee). Absent were Louis Kalert (Centralia) and Jim Beasley (Centralia).

Jansen Chevrolet of Germantown donates new 2024 Chevy Blazer to KC

In April, Jansen Chevrolet of Germantown, Illinois, donated a brand new 2024 Chevy Blazer EV to the Kaskaskia College Automotive Technology Program. The new Chevrolet Blazer will be instrumental in educating KC automotive students on how to better work with electric vehicles.
