With the new and improved FAFSA form ready for high school and college students to fill out, Kaskaskia College Director of Financial Aid Sarah Ratermann advises families to start the process early. Hiccups can happen along the way, and in the state of Illinois, priority for the MAP Grant goes to those who submit their forms before April 1.

Kaskaskia College Professor Wins AAACE Faculty Award at Conference in Nevada

Kaskaskia College is proud to announce one of its professors received a national award from the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE). Associate Professor of Industrial Technology and Wiring Dr. Lyle Gross was honored with the AAACE Faculty Award at the organization's conference in Reno, Nevada. The award is given to a faculty member within the field of Workforce and Professional Development who has made significant contributions in scholarship and service.
Kaskaskia College to host Fall Combined Music Concert on 11/19

Kaskaskia College Hosts Apprenticeship Forum on Campus for Local Businesses

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week and to highlight the impact apprentices have on local businesses, Kaskaskia College is hosting an Apprenticeship Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on campus. Businesses from the region are invited to attend and learn firsthand from employers and current apprentices about the benefits of the registered apprenticeship program.

Kaskaskia College Celebrates Graduates of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

On October 9th, Kaskaskia College hosted its 24th annual pinning ceremony to honor the graduates of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DGMS) Program for the year 2023-2024. The event celebrated the accomplishments of six graduates in a heartfelt ceremony attended by around 60 guests, including families from the district and neighboring regions.
