Children's Learning Center

Where it's Great to be a Kid!

Kaskaskia College's Children's Learning Center is a state-licensed facility established to provide quality care to the children of students, staff, and the community. We currently serve children ages 15 months to six (6) years of age during the fall and spring semesters and 15 months to 12 years of age during the summer.

Infant care is coming in late summer or fall 2023!

Kaskaskia College Children's Learning Center has been designed for children's intellectual, social, emotional, creative, and physical growth and development. Meaningful play experiences and challenging learning opportunities encourage discovery, wonder, and curiosity. At the same time, our research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum provides activities that promote language, science, math, reading, physical, social, and musical skills. These are related to children's interests and create opportunities for problem-solving, critical thinking, and in-depth exploration of topics meaningful to young children.

We provide nutritional meals and snacks, with mealtimes providing an opportunity to share conversations and build relationships with teachers and peers.

Enrollment is open to children in the community and children of KC students, staff, and faculty, without discrimination regarding sex, race, creed, national origin, or political beliefs.
