The Spring 2014 Learning Communities outlined below represent several options for students who have placed into  transitional classes at Kaskaskia College.  The Learning Community places a cohort of students together in their core English, mathematics, reading, and guidance courses.  Learning Communities are designed to provide students with a unique learning experience where students learn in a group setting, taking key courses with one another and where professors work collaboratively to provide instruction.  Such opportunities are know to have a positive impact on student success.  If you qualify for one of our KC Learning Communities we encourage you to contact your advisor for further details today.
