Title: Supervisor Engineer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Develop and deliver architectural and engineering design solutions, projects, and project management related to the operation, maintenance, and construction of physical facilities managed by Building Service. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop clear and measurable project objectives, cost effective alternatives, and project delivery plans. Manage cost, quality, schedule, and risk.
- Procure and manage all internal and external resources required. Provide detailed budget estimates and once approved, ensure projects are completed as planned.
- Direct a staff of engineers and other personnel to complete the above activities. Provide regular delegation, coaching, feedback, and development as needed for assigned staff.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university required. Master’s in Business or Management preferred. Must be a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois. May possess a PE in one state with a commitment to obtain the other. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a commitment to obtain within 1 year required.
Five or more years of commercial facility O&M, construction, or design experience including a thorough knowledge of and considerable experience with heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, emergency power systems, automated building control systems and other building and grounds components. Thorough knowledge of building codes required. Experience supervising professional staff preferred.
Demonstrated good leadership, communications, decision-making and human relations skills.
