South Central Students Attend Career Day at Crisp Technology Center

Kaskaskia College recently hosted a Career Day for the programs offered at the Crisp Technology Center.  These programs include Carpentry, Industrial Electricity, Industrial Technology, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Welding.


Students from area secondary schools in the college district were invited to attend the Career Day, which was a wonderful opportunity for students to obtain information to assist them in making career choices as they begin to prepare for their college education.


Included in the Career Day was a tour and program demonstrations with the following instructors providing demonstrations: David Koleson: Welding instructor; Pete Donnelly: Carpentry Instructor; Don Sensel: Industrial Electricity and Industrial Technology Instructor; and Mark Kohnen: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Instructor.


South Central High School Students in attendance included:  Dalton Courson, James Snow, Jace Wilkins, Shawn Armstrong, Matthew Ritter, Blake Spender, Dalton Hays, Gunner Huddleston, Michael Sproat, Chanoller Corte, Eric Tedrick, John Diss, Kody  Grzegorek, Tyus Holmes, Jordan Sproat, Sean O’leary, Evan Langley, Colton Hiestand, Dylen Peters, and Noah Powless.
