The First National Bank of Carlyle has recently pledged $25,000 to the Kaskaskia College Trenton Education Center Capital Campaign.
Bryan Marsh, CEO of First National Bank says, “The First National Bank in Carlyle recognizes the importance of the expansion of the Kaskaskia College Trenton Education Center. We are investing in our future work force and leaders of our community and the continued education of our current work force. With rising education costs the expansion in Western Clinton County will make it more convenient for students from Carlyle, Aviston, Breese, Germantown, New Baden and Trenton to attend classes close to home. From 2007 to 20011 more than 1000 student from these communities have already attended classes”.
KC President Dr. Jim Underwood expressed appreciation to Mr. Marsh and the First National Bank for their investment in higher education for the area citizens.
Once completed the expanded KC Trenton Education Center will offer 16,000 square feet of instructional and lab space which will allow the College to offer new and expanded educational opportunities to the residents in western Clinton County.
