Kaskaskia College’s Adult Education Bridge Program is designed
for adult education students who desire to earn their
GED
® Credentials and obtain future employment
in the health care industry.
Students accepted into the Bridge Program will be introduced to the
health care industry through learning modules and contextualized
instruction that consist of the following academic components:
- Adult Basic and Secondary Education
- Career Assessment and Computer Literacy
- Soft Skills and Workplace Ethics
- College and Workplace Readiness
Academic instruction for the program consists of traditional classroom
instruction, learning communities, and accessibility to on-line academic
services that are based on a student’s progress in learning, literacy
needs, and employment and/or educational goals related to the healthcare industry.
