The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting on Monday, April 22, 2024. Board members included Bill Hawley (Odin), Laura Wedekemper (Shattuc), Linda Stover (Centralia), Louis Kalert (Centralia), Jim Beasley (Centralia), Craig Finke (Nashville), Bryan Holthaus (Carlyle), Madison Johnson (Outgoing Student Trustee), and Connor Wademan (Student Trustee).

According to student loan debt statistics, people in the United States owe $ 1.727 trillion in student loans. During Community College Month in April, Kaskaskia College wants to educate students and parents on the benefits of attending a community college.
Kaskaskia College to host graduation on May 10

Kaskaskia College will hold an outdoor commencement ceremony on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the class of 2024. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Kaskaskia College Soccer field on the west end of the college's main campus near the Nursing Education Center. The graduate lineup will start at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of graduation.
