A “Basic Knitting” class will be offered at Kaskaskia
College’s Workforce Center located at 325 S. Poplar in Centralia on Thursdays, September
11 through October 2, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The registration number for this
class is LLI-7102-CN01E.
Learn the basics of knitting. Instructor will discuss yarn
textures, die lots and basic knitting know-how. Students will learn basic
stitches such as knit, purl, increase, decrease, yarn-on and yarn-off. Many
patterns will be shared and discussed. Student will be provided with a supply
list prior to the start of class. Cost
for students under 60 is $40.00.
Students over 60 may register at no cost.
