Registration for classes for the 2014 Summer Semester at the Kaskaskia College Nashville Education Center is now in progress and applications are still being accepted. Students can apply at www.kaskaskia.edu and click “Apply Now".
Classes offered at Nashville for the Summer 2014 Semester include: Accounting Principles, Financial Accounting, Biology 101, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Introduction to Business, Intro to Word Processing, Microsoft Excel (Beginner), Principles of Economics 205 and 206, Intro to College Composition, English Composition 101 and 102, First Year College Experience, History of Western Civilizations, History of Diversities, Human Health and Wellness, Principles of Economics 2-5 and 206, Basic Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Intro to Contemporary Math, Math for Elementary Teachers I and II, Medical Terminology, Logic, Core Values/Ethical Decision Making, Political Science, Life Span Growth and Development, Psychology, Sociology, and Fundamentals of Speech.
Non-credit offerings include: Computer College - Part 1 and Part 2, PC Repair and Troubleshooting, Computer Virus Protection, Extreme Couponing, Recycled Jewelry, Digital Photo, Beginning Windows 8, Study Skills, Cake Decorating, Intro to Excel, Welcome to Microsoft Word, and Card Making.
These course offerings are a great opportunity for university students who are home for the summer to save time and money by taking a summer class at KC to transfer back to their institution and get them one step closer to their degree!

Kaskaskia College Advisor, Linda Borowiak will be available to meet with students by appointment on May 14 and 21 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. or on Saturday, May 17 between 8:00 a.m. and noon. Students are encouraged to make an appointment; however, walk-ins will be accepted.
