The Kaskaskia College Board of Trustees has established fine and performing arts scholarships that waive tuition and activity fees. These scholarships are based on talent and are awarded by the faculty members in each area.

FAQ's about Scholarships
QUESTION: Do I need to be a music major to be eligible for a scholarship?
Answer: No. The scholarship program is open to individuals who are interested in continuing to perform in challenging and exciting ensembles.
QUESTION: I will be coming to KC in the spring semester. Are there scholarships available then?
Answer: Yes! Although the number may be limited. The music department has talent based scholarships available each semester. Kaskaskia College also has specific services on campus to assist students in getting grants, scholarships, and student loans. Please contact the appropriate instructor for more information.
QUESTION: What are the eligibility requirements for a scholarship?
Answer: The requirements are different for each area (vocal or instrumental). Specific requirements for each will be determined by your instructor. General requirements are provided in the application packet link to the left.
2) After you download the application packet, please complete the forms and send you completed packet
to the address provided within. You WILL NOT be considered for the scholarship until you have completed
the entire application process.
