Qualified candidate reports to Director of Facility Operations and is a Supervisor over the Electrical Department who
is responsible for all electrical projects and electrical repairs and coordination of same; all electrical systems on the
property including generators, UPS units, electronic switchgear, electrical gear, indoor lighting, parking lot lighting,
signage, power supplies, underground and overhead wiring, motors and all other electric related equipment, apparatus
and connections. In addition, candidate must have at least 5 years experience in Commercial or Industrial electrical installation and maintenance; preferably possess a certificate or degree from a technical school or college. Also, be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and preferably have Auto Cad experience.
Candidate should possess strong background reading wiring schematics, blueprints and drawings, running conduits
and electrical circuits as well as wiring of 24 through 480 volts and have knowledge of 4160 volt gear. Also,
candidate should possess experience managing projects including but not limited to calculating wire sizes,
sizing gear and all other installation requirements; be familiarized with electrical codes, safety requirements and
standard safety practices.
Qualified candidate should have the ability to manage a team and delegate daily work assignments, keep daily
records as well as project records, be a team player, detail-oriented, punctual and work well with other departments
and trades. Furthermore, possess the willingness to cross trades and assist others where needed, i.e., assist with
snow removal, carpentry, HVAC troubleshooting, etc. In addition, candidate is responsible for being on call 24 hours
per day, 7 days per week; work any required shifts requested by Director of Facility Operations and work required
overtime, if needed, to complete emergency projects.
