Do weather warnings give you an adrenaline rush? Are you excited by ice storms and tempted by tornadoes?
ABC NewsChannel 20 in Springfield, IL is looking for a versatile journalist who is equally at home covering
severe weather as working as a General Assignment Reporter. Our Weekend Meteorologist provides our viewers
with much needed forecast information during our two prime newscasts as well as our FOX newscasts on the
weekend. Three days a week, you will also work with a photographer to put together an interesting and
compelling story for our prime time newscast. This is not a position for someone recently graduated.
You MUST have a minimum of two years experience working in front of the camera at a commercial television
news operation. We are looking for a person who combines the linear thinking of a scientist with the creative
soul of a curious journalist. If you think you are that person, we want to hear from you!
