Lab Technician

Swan Corporation is

currently looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of

Mixing/Experimental Lab Technician. This position will be responsible for

quality control testing, mixing and evaluation of laboratory experimental

formulations as determined by the Senior Plant Engineer.  The technician will work closely with the Lab

Engineering Process Tech on the analysis of new formulations and new product

development and research and will oversee and direct the quality control

analysis and testing of incoming raw materials.

must possess the ability to process, analyze, document and record data and

information on various type of raw materials; estimate sizes and quantities

then determine time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform

experiments; see differences in color and perform color matching; and analyze,

interpret, and prepare reports on laboratory processes collected.  College degree in biology, chemistry, or

related field required. Experience as a lab technician preferred.  Comprehensive computer skills in Microsoft

Office (word, excel, outlook)
