The Academic Olympics is a project developed by the Illinois Community College Trustees Association’s Public Relations Committee to heighten public awareness of community colleges as high-quality academic institutions. Based upon the well-known College Bowl program, the Academic Olympics feature question-and-answer competition between teams of community college students. Participating teams meet in regional tournaments, with the regional winners competing in statewide final.
