The Friends of the Fine Arts organization has undertaken a project to extend the stage area in the Jane Knight Auditorium so that college and visiting groups will have an expanded performance space. This will make it possible to host larger touring productions and concerts as well as enhance the opportunities for joint KC Music Department events. Donations to the project are being sought to help underwrite the cost.
