GED Graduation Held At Kaskaskia College


Kaskaskia College Adult Education and Literacy Program recently held a graduation ceremony for students who passed the GED® test on Thursday, June 7th.  The ceremony was held in the Jane Knight Auditorium.


June 2018 Graduates include Courtney Armstrong (Farina), James Bailey (Salem), Jonathan Baldwin (Kinmundy), Richard Bolen (Carlyle), Kaleb Branscome (Greenville), Bailie Chambers (Salem), Jacob Chumley (Centralia), Brian Cushman (Salem), Anna Draper (Kinmundy), Jacquelyn Dunahee (Salem), Kyle Duncan (Salem), Kylie Ebbs (Centralia), Tommy Feltner (Brownstown), Cie’nne Finch (Carlyle), Bryanna Hess (Bluford), Crystal Johnson (Sandoval), Bambi Kistler (Vandalia), Brian Klepzig (Altamont), Debra Manns (Centralia), Jill Mashburn (Centralia), Amanda McArthur (Shuttuc), Sheyridan Middleton (Salem), Rebekah Mooth (Carlyle), Eslie Nealy (Centralia), NiCole Newcomb (Centralia), Jerry Phillips (Salem), Sarah Pinkston (Irvington), Kristen Polk (Greenville), Tristan Riddle (Centralia), Mike Rupert (Vernon), Jessica Summers (Salem), and Grace Zimmerman (Shobonier).


Students Jonathan Baldwin, Cie’nne Finch, Crystal Johnson, Debra Manns, Eslie Nealy and Grace Zimmerman were honored for being named to the National Adult Education Honor Society.


Kaskaskia College offers a GED scholarship to eligible graduates.  The scholarship covers tuition and technology fees and may be awarded for up to 24 credit hours as long as the student meets eligibility requirements.


The first step to enroll in an Illinois High School Equivalency (formerly GED) prep class is to attend an orientation session.  Orientations are scheduled in both July and August throughout the college district.  Please call Debbie Clark at 618-545-3115 for more information.
