Nashville High School Places First In Academic Challenge Competition

​The annual Academic Challenge was held at Kaskaskia College on February 6.  Fifteen district high schools were in competition in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering Graphics, English, Math, and Physics.  The Nashville team finished first in the medium school competition.
Individual students from Nashville who won awards were:               
Biology – tie for 2nd place – Mackenzie Wells, Mackenie  
Chemistry – 2nd place – Drew Kuhl                         
Computer Science – 1st place – Brent Harris; 3rd place – Langdon Briles
Engineering Graphics – tie for 2nd place – Caleb Hallock; 3rd place – Tyler Williamson                  
English – tie for 1st – Mackenzie Wells                                                                   
Mathematics – tie for 2nd – Drew Kuhl; tie for 3rd – Jill Guetersloh
Student Mackenzie Wells received a 12-credit hour scholarship to attend Kaskaskia College for high test scores.
