Kaskaskia College Athletic Teams and Athletes Honored by NJCAA

​Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that its women's golf, softball and volleyball teams have been named to the 2013-14 NJCAA All-Academic Teams. 
 
Soccer player Lauren Krebs (Breese) received the Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence with a 4.0 GPA and Cross Country runner AJ Abert (Alhambra), Golfer Andrew Adams (Carlyle), and Tennis player Chris Heckman (Salem) were named a NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement Honoree. 
 
Six students were awarded the 2013-14 Exemplary Award for Academic Excellence.  These students are baseball player Dillon Hoel (Tuscola), golfer Kyle Mueller (Nashville) cross country runners Julie Waldhoff (Teutopolis), tennis player Andrew Partain (Salem), volleyball player Kelsey Stauder (Shelbyville), and women’s basketball player Kristin Perkins (Odin). 
 
According to newly hired Athletic Director, Adam Esses, “The KC Athletic Department is very proud to announce these accomplishments by our teams and athletes. These awards demonstrate the hard work by our student-athletes as well as the commitment to academics by our faculty and staff in serving our campus community.”
