KC Nail Technology Program Enrolling New Students for Fall Semester

​The Kaskaskia College Nail Technology Program is now enrolling new students for the Fall Semesters which begins August 18.  This part-time program is 16 weeks long. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
This sixteen week program gives students all necessary coursework to be eligible to take the State Board exams and become a licensed Nail Technician..
The program includes the study of manicuring; pedicuring; hand, arm, and foot massage; nail, hand, arm and leg anatomy; various nail technology procedures; product knowledge; product chemistry; nail fabric procedures; nail sculpting procedures; UV and LED light and gel products for nails; and machine apparatus for Nail Technology.
Technical application and the use of chemicals in Nail Technology will also be discussed.
The Nail Technology industry is expected to grow 20% by the year 2018, which is much greater than the average of other careers. Growth in the number of full service spas and nail salons will generate a greater need for Nail Techs in the future.
Enrollment is limited; admission to the program is on a first come first serve basis.
