Kaskaskia College is pleased to announce that a new session of the Nail Technology Program will begin June 2. This part-time program will prepare students for the salon and have them ready to work by mid-October.
Students enrolled in the Nail Technology program will complete all necessary coursework to be eligible to take the State Board exams and become a licensed Nail Tech.
The program includes the study of manicuring; pedicuring; hand, arm, and foot massage; nail, hand, arm and leg anatomy; various nail technology procedures; product knowledge; product chemistry; nail fabric procedures; nail sculpting procedures; UV and LED light and gel products for nails; and machine apparatus for Nail Technology.
Technical application and the use of chemicals in Nail Technology will also be discussed.
Classes will be held Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
Enrollment is limited; admission to the program is on a first come first serve basis.
