The Kaskaskia College Electronic Automation Computer Technology/Industrial Electricity Programs held their Advisory Board Meeting recently. Members discussed the current curriculum, recent additions and improvements that could be made to the programs including dedicated courses and additions to existing courses. Networking, communications, Variable Frequency Drives and cabling was also discussed as well as class scheduling, structure and additional methods evaluated. There were a lot of productive ideas and suggestions from the members that will help Kaskaskia improve the programs.
The advisory board was comprised of members of business and industry, local adjunct and full time faculty, the KC administration and area industrial technical professionals.
