“Appreciating Nature” Class To Be Held Through Kaskaskia College Vandalia Campus

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer an “Appreciating Nature” class on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The registration number is COED 5104 VA01D.


Bremer Sanctuary is the home of Hickory Hill Chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society.  Besides being the home of scores of birds, it is also a showplace for natural areas restoration.  Participants will be able to enjoy the scenery at Roberts Cemetery Hickory Hill Savanna Nature Preserve, which is home to many Illinois prairie grasses and herbs. This preserve has been in your back yard for 30 years and many are not aware. Come enjoy the beauty of nature. Bremer Sanctuary located at 194 Bremer Lanein Butler, IL and Hickory Hill located on North Road .5 miles from the Hillsboro square on the west side of the road. The cost for this class is $20.00.


Students may register through the Vandalia Campus by calling 618-545-3445 or the Department of Industrial and Continuing Education at Kaskaskia College at 618-545-3255.  Space is limited, so please register early.  All students must pre-register for this class.
