Nashville Education Center to Offer “Basic Knitting” Class

The Kaskaskia College Community Education Department will be offering a “Basic Knitting” class at the Nashville Education Center.  This class will be held on Thursday evenings, beginning February 13 and ending March 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  The registration number for the class is LLI 7102 NS01E.
Students will learn the basics of knitting. Instructor will discuss yarn textures, die lots and basic knitting know-how. Students will learn basic stitches such as knit, purl, increase, decrease, yarn-on and yarn-off. Many patterns will be shared and discussed. Student will be provided with a supply list prior to the start of class.  Cost for students under 60 is $40.00.  Students over 60 may register at no cost.  This course is held at the Grace United Methodist Church, located at 250 North Mill in Nashville.
