Kaskaskia College is currently offering a Business and Economics class that will begin July 1
Introduction to Business (BUSN 103) is a survey of the fundamentals of business. The course is
designed to give the student an exposure to all areas of business and form a solid base for further study in the field. Topics covered include: economics; business environments; the organization, operation, and management of the business firm; marketing finance, accounting, computer science; and international business. This new section will begin July 1 and is a 4-week accelerated online course. It is a three credit hour class.
Principles of Economics (ECON 206) is a continuation of the study of general economic principles with an emphasis on microeconomics. Topics covered include price elasticity, marginal utility, production and cost, profit maximization, product markets, labor market, income inequality, capital and resource market, economic efficiency, and government's role.
This new section will begin July 1 and is a 4-week accelerated online course. It is a three credit hour class.
