Registration for classes for the 2013 Summer Semester at the Kaskaskia College Trenton Education Center is now in progress and applications are still being accepted. Students can apply at www.kaskaskia.edu and click “Apply Now".
Classes offered at Trenton for the Summer 2013 Semester include: Accounting Principles, Introduction to Art, Biology, Introduction to Business, Marketing Fundamentals I, Business Communications, Microsoft Excel (Beginner), MS Powerpoint (Beginner), Writing Effective Sentence Paragraphs, Intro to College Composition, English Composition 101 and 102,
History of Western Civilizations, History of the United States 103, Human Health and Wellness, First Aid, Intro to Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, Introduction to Investigation, two sessions of Basic Mathematics, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, two sessions of Basic Life Support, Logic, Core Values/Ethical Decision, Ethics, Political Science, Life Span Growth and Development, Psychology, Sociology, Social Problems, and two sessions of Fundamentals of Speech.
Non-credit offerings include two sessions of Introduction to the Internet, Beginning Scrapbooking, and Court and Land Records.
These course offerings are a great opportunity for university students who are home for the summer to save time and money by taking a summer class at KC to transfer back to their institution and get them one step closer to their degree!
