“Computer College I” Course to be offered in Nashville


The Kaskaskia College Office of Continuing/Community Education is pleased to offer a course entitled “Computer College I” at the Nashville Education Center. The class will be held Wednesday and Thursday mornings, beginning April 17 and ending April 25 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The registration number for the class is LLI 7020 NS01D.

 This hands-on computer course gives novice computer users the opportunity to become a seasoned intermediate computer user.  Students will learn the components and parts of a computer.  Computer terms as well as how to create, print and save documents, and personalize the desktop will be discussed.  Students will become familiar with MS Windows, Word and Excel.  Internet and basic email accounts and functions will be presented and discussed.  Students over 60 may register at no cost.  Cost for students under 60 is $104.00

Students may register through the Nashville Education Center by calling 327-9136 or the Office of  Continuing/Community Education at Kaskaskia College at 545-3255.  Space is limited, so please register early.  All students must pre-register for this class.
