Course Description:
Introduction to weight training and other fitness equipment in which participant sets personal goals toward
fitness to correlate with developed programs.
Course Objectives:
- Students will demonstrate working knowledge of the circuit machines through the use of proper techniques, training principles, and record keeping of workouts.
- Students will set goals and work towards those goals through attending the fitness center on a regular workout and meeting attendance requirements.
- Students will gain a better understanding of the way physical activity and exercise benefit an individual through the planned lessons.
Grading:
26 Workouts completed by the end of the semester
14 completed by the mid-term
What a workout consists of: 30 minute workout.
