Course Description:
Introduction to weight training and other fitness equipment in which participant sets personal goals toward fitness to correlate with developed programs.

Course Objectives:
  1. Students will demonstrate working knowledge of the circuit machines through the use of proper techniques, training principles, and record keeping of workouts.
  2. Students will set goals and work towards those goals through attending the fitness center on a regular workout and meeting attendance requirements.
  3. Students will gain a better understanding of the way physical activity and exercise benefit an individual through the planned lessons.
Grading:
26 Workouts completed by the end of the semester
14 completed by the mid-term

What a workout consists of: 30 minute workout.

*If you do not have the required clothing on a given day, you will not be allowed to work out.
