Foods containing all nine amino acids are called complete proteins.

Sources:
  • Fish
  • Poultry
  • Meat
  • Eggs
  • Dairy products
Incomplete proteins are items such as:
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Grains
  • Nuts
Caloric Intake
  • 45% to 65% carbohydrates
  • 20 to 35% fats
  • 10 to 35% proteins
  • Less than 7% saturated fats
