This prestigious accrediting body is recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation and the United States
Department of Education. Strict accreditation requirements assure a comprehensive education that is based on the latest
procedures and techniques.
A graduate of the program will receive a certificate of achievement and will be immediately eligible to take the Dental
Assisting National Board Examination. Successful completion of the examination earns the graduate the title of CDA (Certified
Dental Assistant). During the course of instruction, expanded functions will be taught.
Upon successful completion of the program the student will be awarded a separate certificate that allows them to legally
perform expanded functions such as coronal polishing and sealants.
The Commission of Dental Accreditation serves the public by establishing, maintaining and applying standards that ensure
the quality and continuous improvement of dental and dental related education and reflect the evolving practice of dentistry.
