| All students must submit either ACT scores or COMPASS® Test scores prior to being eligible to enroll in an English or math course. Kaskaskia College accepts the ACT scores taken as part of the Prairie State Tests. Any new student who has not taken the ACT and who plans to enroll will be required to take the COMPASS® test prior to enrolling in English
Composition 101 or any math course. The COMPASS® test and/or the ACT are also required for students seeking admission to special admission programs. There is no fee for the COMPASS® test, and tests are administered on the main campus as well as the Education Centers throughout the district.
To make an appointment to take the COMPASS test at the main campus please call the Student Success Center at 618-545-3160. The Success Center is located in L-109 just outside of the Library.
Appointments are available Monday through Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Interim and Summer hours are subject to change.
