Leadership in Working (VOCS-112)

Description: This course may be taught in conjunction with local business and industry. In this course, students examine new roles for employees which are consistent with total quality management. Topics in this course include: introduction and basic principles, mastering individual performance, developing team performance, handling organizational issues, dealing with change and innovation, and working for managers -- the management support role. The number of hours per topic covered and the number of outcomes achieved may vary depending on the amount of credit hours awarded and specific needs of the individual businesses.
