BRIDGE/ABE GED REVIEW (CABE-042)

Description: This course is recommended for students with a reading level of 6.0 to 8.9 who need to review basic skills in reading, math, writing, and the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions necessary to successfully earn the Illinois High School Equivalency Credential. The contextualized curriculum for the course also includes basic academic competencies relevant to career/occupational pathways that allow students to build skills in specific occupations as they study to improve their literacy skills for the Illinois High School Equivalency Exam. Soft skills, computer literacy and workplace ethics will be covered. Tools for career assessment will be available for students.
