Description: This course emphasizes the study of zoological principles and scientific inquiry through selected concepts in biology, such as origination, function, heredity, evolution and ecology, using animals as the type of organism. Topics include animal structure, growth, genetics, evolution, physiology, reproduction, and behavior, along with an examination of major invertebrate animal phyla.
